-- At the top center, what is the dark light (flash ?) underneath the speaker

-- I believe I know the answer. If you tap the top of the phone, I hear a slight slight rattle. I believe from the past people say that is normal. The camera?

I’m pretty sure that’s the proximity sensor; however I could be wrong.

Regarding the rattle, if it’s significant I’d suggest asking Google to replace the unit – better safe than sorry just in case it turns out to be defective.

It is definitely not significant. Just a little anal But I see a lot of people on the forums the same way

My roomie got the same phone and his sounds similar. If you tap yours and it is quiet in the room and you hear it slightly, would love to know for my last piece of mine. If not, no need to say, LOL I will worry more

Turn your camera on and then tap the top of your phone. Do you still hear the rattle? If you don't - then your phone is fine. If you do - then call Google.
