google play music app./wi-fi

After the lollipop update, everytime I turn on/turn off my wi-fi service,the Google Play Music app automatically starts. Can anyone tell me how to stop this from happening? Thanks!

It never happened to me until the lollipop update. It's always running as an active app. when I go to the task manager setting to end all running apps. Only running when I turn on/off my wifi.
