Google Play Music app?

Is there going to be an app on the watch for Google Play music like Spotify? I am reading that Samsung signed a deal with Google to make it the default music player on the S8, so theoretically wouldn't that mean it should have an app on the S3? I already subscribe to Play Music and was thinking about getting Spotify just to have the the feature on the S3. This makes me wonder if I should keep my subscription with Google Play music?

That would be awesome to go to the gym with just my watch and headphones. Hopefully the app comes shortly.
