Google Play music SD card issue

Yesterday I swapped my SD card with another to copy some files to my internal storage. When I replaced my original SD card back I went to play some music using the play music app, only this time it will only find the music that is on my internal memory & not the SD card.
I have tried rebooting my device but this hasn't worked.
Any help?

Go to Settings>Storage -- is the SD card shown there? If not, then the phone isn't registering the card at all. Try removing it and reinserting it.

When you removed it the first time, did you Unmount first (in the Settings>Storage menu)? Removing a card without unmounting it first can sometimes cause data corruption, if the device was still performing a read-write operation at the time of removal.
