Google play service permissions list

is this right for Google play service to have all these permissions this is a screenshot of them someone tell me if it's right to me it seams a little excessive

Yes because Play services serves as the framework for all of Google's services other apps plug into it to get access to Google Data. For example, a car dock app like AutoMate has it's own display for Navigation using Google Maps. It will plug in to the Google Play services to access your Google Maps data through the Maps API bundled inside Play Services (hence the location related permissions). This is to basically not let third party apps directly access your account, but go through Play Services instead. So instead of AutoMate directly connecting to your Google Account for your Google Location data (which more dangerous since if it does, it can see your previous locations in your Google History), it just goes through Play Services which gives it some access. Think of it as the gateway of other apps to your Google data.
