Google Play Services eating my battery.

Anyone else have this issue, solution? I am using cyanogenmod 11s that came with the phone. It appears to be keeping my phone awake and continuously synching.

I recall someone posting a fix for this over in the OnePlus forums. You should go search for it.

Took your advice. So far so good. I had to go into privacy guard, advance settings and disable keep awake on google play services.

this is a known issue.. you can download the app "disable service" from playstore.. and "enable" the "systemupdateservice".. for now this method does not stick through reboots.. so you'll have to do it every time the phone restarts.

there are other fixes as well...But this one's the easiest!
