Google Play Services Keeps Stopping

I just sarted getting the message Google Play services keep stopping.
The notification began today.
I have tried forum advice re.caches,
disabling Google Play/services, Removing Google Account... etc,worsening the problem.
My device is now unusable.
There is no satisfactory response from Google.
Does anyone have a solution?

Welcome to Android Central! Just to be clear, you tried a cache partition wipe, right? https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-28352. Does this also happen in Safe Mode? https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-28317

Disabling Google Play Services is never a good idea, since it's integral to the function of all Google apps/services on the device.
