Has anyone else had Google Play Services eat a lot of battery every day. I just bought this phone new a month ago and every day Google Play Services is using 20-25%.

Lollipop 5.0 on Verizon
Google Play Services 7.5.74

Check your Google account sync settings. The default is to sync every Google service whether you're using them or not. That should help.

Thanks. Turned off a few of them, hopefully it improves things a bit.

Yeah I was noticing this too. Also waiting for the update to 5.1 on the Pure Edition!
