Google Play is showing that an app is installed and it is not. It might have been at some point. How do I fix this so I can download it?

Are you seeing this on your device, or on the desktop site?

Edit: Forgot to ask, which app is it?

If you are talking about a PC browser, this always happens on a PC browser if you've ever installed the app on any phone, even if you've uninstalled it. Just tap the "installed" button and it will still install.

On my phone. There have been two apps recently. One was a Google camera app and the other was a Detroit Airport app. I even looked under All Apps and nothing.

Can you show a screenshot?

If an app is installed, when I go to the Play Store and tap the app there are two buttons: uninstall and open (or, if there is an update available, the open button will say update instead.) Tapping open will open the app. If you don't see that, I'd love to see what you are seeing....
