Google Play - Songs "skipping"

Over the last week when I listen to music, usually between two to four times, within half an hour to forty five minutes the playback will skip or stutter like a bad spot on a cd. It's not terrible but it is annoying. One theory that I have is that some type of activity from another app is causing interference. Last night I was out walking and thought maybe it was picking up wi fi networks and this was causing it. I wonder if anyone else has had this happen or if anyone had any ideas as to what could be causing it.

I have that problem as well. I just downloaded Doubletwist music player because it uses a different equalizer then the google play app does so the songs rarely skip now.
