Google Play store acting up

Hey guys, anyone experienced this before? Recently my Play store has been draining alot of battery and heating up the phone. There isn't any app being updated. Not sure why it's suddenly taking so much battery.
Usually when I resort the phone it will be fine. But after some time, it starts heating up again.

Anyone can help? Thanks!

Force stop the app, clear its cache, reboot. If that fails, wipe its data too... Last resort, uninstall and reinstall app...

hmm I don't think it's possible to force stop Play services.
