You can go to Apkmirror and check for latest play store to download

I really don't trust those websites. I think it should be updated officially via Play Store update.

I just hard-reset my phone and the problem is still there. In addition, the feedback option is not working now.

Yep. Same here. My old Retardroid device running Marshmallow got the PlayStore updated...but the one I currently use running Pie... hasn't...go figure...

To be honest...I like the current version better. The new one looks... flimsy and not at all user-friendly...and the damn white background theme seems even brighter...
