Google Play Store

I am on Nougat day 2 and find I cannot get to the Play Store whether I use the app link or try to access via Chrome.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Has this happened to any one else?

Thanks to a link to a suggested app in another forum here ... Well I clicked the link and was prompted to sign into Google. I was already signed in but did it again praying I was not being phished.
Then I rebooted phone and now I can get into play store using my app short cut.

Am not fond of the new design tho. But hey I am in.

Hope my experience proves useful to some other nougat Newbie.
