Google Play System Update

Finally got the Google Play System update for Mar 1 on my S26 Ultra. Seems like it was stuck on the November update forever.

Just checked and downloaded. Now March 1, 2026 too.

Sadly, it takes a long while for it to organically push and update.

Understandable since they do not want every phone they have to hit their servers all at once, so it is a random/staggered release unless you manually check.

It's always been check manually, never seen notifications which is dumb on any of my devices including pixels.

Where do you go to check? Somehow I hare 18 regular app updates don't see play store.

Settings > About Phone > Software Information > Google Play System update > Check for Update
