Google Play Update Notifications?

In Google Play settings/updates, I just set to Do Not Auto-Update Apps.
But when I go into the Notifications settings for Updates, I see that the following is enabled: Notify when play automatically updates your apps

Since I have Do Not Allow Auto-Updates turned OFF, should I also turn OFF Notify when play automatically updates your apps?

I don't think it matters, since it's not automatically updating your apps.

I think its clear to me now because if I were to have Auto-Updates enabled, then that Notification setting just would mean that the updates were installed. In other words, it would just let me know that the app updates were installed on my device automatically giving the chance to review on which updates that were installed. Hope that this makes sense.
