Google Play update.

Just randomly checked and there was an update. Oddly I'm still listed as being on the June 1st update though.

I'm not sure if this is what you're talking about, but on my Pixel 3 XL I just got a Google play services update. There was no change log regarding it... It just rebooted my phone.

Yeah, I'm curious about it myself along with you! nothing seems really too different on my phone or the back end services. And Google play services is the back end Google services that we have on our Pixel's. Mhmm

I don't use smaller feature, I'm wondering if the Android messages chat bubbles feature is any more reliable now. However, that's probably tied to the beta as well.

Yeah, I wonder why there seems to be a pause in these Google Play Security Updates. Or perhaps monthly updates aren't necessary since the security for Google Play doesn't need as much constant updating as the OS itself.

Interesting. Like patruns, mine is on the May 1, 2020 "Google Play system update", while "Security update" is July 5, 2020. The latter makes sense per the monthly updates. Checked just now and there are no updates for "Google Play system update".

FWIW, I have the July versions of both updates. I'm on the 11 beta, though.

Checked on my wife's 3XL and it said an update was available. Hit update and it restarted. Checked again and still says May and that it is up to date. Weird!

Finally got the latest Google Play Security Update on my 3 XL -- it's up to July now.

I updated to 11 beta and now have the June update. That is as far as it takes me.
