I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 on 4.0.4.
I keep losing my network a few times a day. I lose all data connection and can't send or receive texts and calls. I checked with my network (EE) and there are no connectivity problems.
It has only done it since Google Play updated itself to its fancy new look. I also noticed that in order to get my phone working again I have to turn it off and on again, and when it comes back on it instantly tells me I have updates to install from Google Play, which can be several times a day. It appears that every time Google Play checks for updates I lose the use of my phone.
I have seen this mentioned on other forums but I haven't yet found any solution. I've checked for any updates for my operating system and my phone says I'm up to date. Even with a factory reset the problem still persists. I've tried every setting on Google Play but there haven't been any changes.
Is going to Jelly Bean going to help me? Or is there a much simpler explanation for it all? Thanks for any help or advice you can offer!
