Google Play voucher doesn't redeem

OK... So I bought a Google play voucher and I can't redeem it. What happens is that I put the code in and it asks: do you wish to add $30 to [my email]. I say yes, and then it says this code is invalid... Help me please!

Welcome to Android Central! Where'd you get the card from? Are you sure it was charged up? If you get one of those cards from a store, the cashier has to actually activate it (otherwise, people could just pocket the cards easily in the store and get away with hundreds of dollars of credit). Maybe the cashier forgot to do it.

I got it from the post office - I'm gonna take it back and see if they can do something about it - thanks.

Also, another question - you seem quite knowledgeable. I was on google images and a notification came up: attached. I tapped the little 'x' to close it... Is this just a glitch or is my phone stuffed? Note*** it happened again when I tried it.

That's a normal function for Chrome, but it's weird--I think it's detecting "Noah" and assuming the page is in Indonesian. Not sure why. On Google Translate, if I type Noah, it automatically detects Indonesian, but it just translates to Noah in English. Anyway, it's not your phone--it sounds like an issue with Google.
