Is the Google Play store down for anyone else right now? Can't connect on my S3.

Yes, there have been issues periodically all day long. I think they're keeping an update on the main blog. Google Play experiencing issues for most everyone | Android Central

earlier I was getting the "server error" thought I had done something as I was messing around with NFC/Wifi things of that sort. I went into application manager, cleared cache/force closed the Google play store, google play framework, then uninstalled my Gmail account. restarted phone. Went to play store and readded my Gmail account and everythings been good since.
