Google Playstore Black App Background

Hey guys i just bought the 2013 Asus MemoPad HD, but i have a problem. The google playstore apps have a black background instead of transparent. I'm on Android 4.2.2.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Try going to Settings>Apps>All​, select Google Play Store, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Now open it again and see if it's fixed.

It might just be intrinsic to the tablet's particular software. This kind of thing can be seen with other parts of the graphic user interface between various devices (even between older and newer Nexus devices).
