Google Print from AC700 Chromebook

I have Google Chrome installed on my Windows XP SP3 laptop PC.
It has a wireless connection, via router, to 2 Classic printers:

Brother HL-2270DW Printer
Brother MFC-J410W Multifunction Machine

I am able to print from Chrome to both of these machines from the laptop PC.

When I sign in and try to print from an Acer AC700 Chromebook, on the same wireless network,
both printers are listed, but I can print only from the MFC machine and not the HL machine.
When I try to print from the HL machine, I get an Error indication.
Why is that?
