Google question

I have installed Google as my search on my home screen. But there are a couple of "questionable" searches that appear that I would like to delete from the search history. I just don't know how to delete them. Any help would be appreciated.

in browser, menu>more>settings>clear history

For future reference, Dolphin Browser allows you to set it to clear your cache and history every time you close it. I find that to be the main reason I use it as I'm very picky about keeping those kind of things clean.

I have cleared cache, history, etc. But my Google history still shows up whenever I go to Google???

Townie, try going to the Google website. Make sure you are signed into your account. On the top right go to Settings > Google Account Settings.

From there, click on Web History, then on the left click on Remove Items. From there you can remove some, or all of your search history.

If you go to the Google website and sign in with your ID you can manage your history for all the connected devices to your Google acct. That is separate from your phone and stays on their servers unless you tell it different.

In Dolphin Browser at least, and I can't see why it would be different in the stock one, when you go to Google just click on the search bar and it will pop up with your recent searches. At the bottom there's a clear history button. It only clears it a page at a time so you may have to do it once or twice.

Thanks for the tips, but still no luck! When I tap the Google box (even after deleting history - on phone and computer) all previous searches show up. Frustrating!

a factory reset will clear that up for you.
