Google search and call in one action?

Maybe I never paid attention, but did Google always do this...

I just say "Google call Sal's pizza I Gilbert Arizona" and it takes you right to the phone dialer.

Did this existing previous versions and I just never noticed?

Yeah, it's pretty cool, I use it all the time. It's too bad Google hasn't advertised features like that before now...and now they make it seem like it's a Google Assistant thing only available on the Pixel.
