Google Search App not compatible?

Hi,

I am a new owner of a Sprint Galaxy Nexus and for some reason I cannot get the Search bar to do anything more than search the web. If I am not mistaken it searched the device as well up until I installed an firmware update yesterday.

When I try to download the Google Search App from Google Play it says that the app is not compatible with my device.

Any help would be appreciated.

Samsung/Google took that functionality out of the GSIII and the Nexus to prevent potential issues with another apple patent. It's what kept the global Nexus from being sold for a little while a month or so ago. It _should_ be back with the next update or so.

It does not appear that the new Search app is compatible with any of my known devices (at this time the nexus and the epic 4g), so not sure what to make of that.
