Google Tasks on Gear S2?

I wanted to keep the S2 I tried but couldn't justify it as the only thing it offered that I really really needed was conveniently take voice memo's on the fly. If there was an app that did Google Tasks, I'd buy one in a second. Does anyone know if anyone plans to offer this functionality?

(And as a side question, as a non-programmer, why is this so hard (just displaying a list and syncing it)? Why can't Samsung hire a few hundred people and just have them quickly develop apps like this that would vastly improve the usefulness of the device?)

I agree. It seems like the apps are just not there. It does what I need it to do but note a lot of what I would like it to do. This watch is terrific but lacks many apps/functions. It reminds me of the days with my BlackBerry phone.

Def and I am hoping that the apps list grows as the watch becomes more popular and as people are getting them.
