Google To Build Its Own Smartphone

Read several websites that Google has their own phone in the works. Not sure if this has already been posted somewhere. What are your thoughts?

I kinda hope they do, in the trend of the Pixel line - but there is so much wrong and/or misleading information in the rest of the article (not to mention the autoplaying not related video) that I can't help but be skeptical of the main claim.

A lot of people, including myself, thought this was happening when Google bought Moto. That may have been the stepping stone to what Forbes is getting at, but right now it's a lot of speculation.
