Im just a click away from ordering my own Google TV-powered Logitech Revue. I know it can play networked media & bring the net to my tv. But got a question: Does the Revue's Logitech Media Player support gapless playback? I own an XBMC-powered HTPC (with gapless playback support) but want more.
Can anyone who's bought this piece of hardware or the Sony TV confirm if it supports it? Thanks in advance.

I'm watching shows through DLNA right now on my Logitech Revue, and when one show ends, the next in the folder immediately starts playing. Is that what you are referring to?

Not that exactly, but that is also good to know. Gapless playback is when a song starts playing immediately after the prior one ends, without any gaps or delays. Many media boxes / media players / mp3 players add a gap in between songs. Some are rarely noticeable, while others ad a couple seconds. I listen to plenty of live /mix recordings & those gaps can simply ruin the experience, especially when hosting a party. I own a pc running XBMC & there are no gaps in between songs. It's great, but love more what Google TV offers.
Now, another quick question: does the Revue retrieve info for the tv shows you watch? XBMC does that extremelly well.
Thanks for your time

The only thing Google TV has that your HTPC doesn't is an overlay on top of live TV. Why would you need this if you have an HTPC running XBMC? You need to be running Boxee on there.
