I've been trying to understand why Flash has been stuttering away on the Google TV products, but something doesn't add up:
Google TV runs on Android 2.1. Android 2.1 was never capable of full Flash; there was Flash Lite, at best.
Google TV's browser is Chrome, which is a desktop browser. Chrome is obviously capable of full Flash. But how is it that Chrome is running on a mobile OS? What happened to the stock Android browser?
To take it a step further, it seems like something as simple as Google TV devices receiving an Android 2.2 update would totally transform them into much more optimized machines.
