GOOGLE TV Questions....anyone know?

Does anyone know if you can print, while surfing the web, to a network printer from the Logitech Revue or Sony Blu Ray w GTV?? If Im on a website and buy print at home tickets can i print them from google tv to my printer? Can i save a pdf file on the revue or sony device? Does the Sony keyboard act as a universal remote like the logitech revue remote? Can I hook up the sony google tv blu ray to a Denon AVR591 av receiver? Thanks for any help or info.

Your question might be expanded to ask:

(1) Does Google Tv (LogiTech Revue) support any printers or printer/scanners?

(2) Will it support either stand-alone printers or stand-alone scanners?

(3) Will it support card readers?

I picked up the Sony unit at Best Buy yesterday. It doesn't seem to support printers at all.

You will likely have trouble with your A/V receiver. I'm on Comcast. My Motorola box will allow only two HDMI destinations before throwing an error message. That means the amp and the TV. Throw the Google box in the middle and it won't work. I had to go cable box to Google TV to Television and optical audio from the box to the amp. I knew this was going to be an issue ahead of time from the Logitech website.

The Sony keypad does work as a universal remote for the cable box, amp and television.

Other than the DRM, which is Comcast's fault, not Sony, I'm enjoying the experience

not being able to use the google tv as a pass thru for hdmi completely blows it for me.

I can't see an easy way to print, but there are some email to printer gateways/products around, so there may be a workaround.

Once the app market is enabled, I would expect pdf and printing support to be possible. But you'll have to wait until next year for that...
