Google Voice and my Nexus S.

If I were to get a Google Voice number, would I still be able to receive calls with my sprint number, or does Google Voice do a complete takeover of my phones stock functions?

I want to be able to give my Sprint number to a select few people, and my Google Voice number to others. Will this work?

Yes. My phone still rings and I get mms messages on my sprint number. One thing I hate about this integration is that I can't do my text to bank since all text without mms goes through Google voice and it does not accept the short text (like texting my bank)

Just integrate it and put those people in a group. The block the when you don't want to hear from them. But that way its just one number you have to remember
