Google Voice separating same contacts' conversations?

So I read that Google voice was a good option for texting from a tablet, and all in all it has been good, except for one issue. The client separates the conversations from different days into different threads. I don't like it like this because it gets really messy, but I haven't found any options in the application to adjust that feature, could someone help me out here?

That is the only real issue left IMO. There is no way that I know of to organize them better. I just go to Google voice on my desktop once in a while and clear the entire list.

Def agree.. Hate that about gvoice, but overall it's still a great thing to have.

Drat, I guess I'll have to live with it haha.. it's still great though, since I can now text on whichever gadget I am on now

It's a heck of a service. Besides merging conversations on different days in the mobile app, I really hope they implement batch editing for messages at some point. Something similar to what you can do in the GMail app.
