Is there a way to keep the sprint text coming in and just use Voice? While I like the evo 3D text interface better then Voice, I like doing text on my computer more.

Have you intergrated your sprint number fully into google voice? if you have, in the voice settings you can tell the application to send a text to the regular app or not. If you don't want them to go that way uncheck that box.
