Google Voice Voicemail Notification Delay

Hello all,

I am using a Verizon Galaxy S6 and have been using Google Voice for voicemails. Recently, I discovered that sometimes my voicemails come through several hours after the call. This does not happen all of the time, but it does happen some. It is also pretty inconvenient. I do not want to go into the app and press refresh after missing a call, just to see if I have a voicemail. I did not have this issue with my Galaxy S3 or Moto X. Also, I have the sync, notification, etc settings all good to go.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I just noticed this not long ago either. I never gave it much thought as I normally don't get a lot of calls. Have you tried a cache clear?
