Is anyone using it? I saw some post recently that said that it's available through the Google One app..

I just checked - I'm being told it's a premium-level feature. I thought the Pixel 7 devices were supposed to get the Google One VPN free...

EDIT: apparently it was supposed to come with the December feature drop but some are getting it early. https://9to5google.com/2022/11/29/google-one-vpn-pixel-7/ Hopefully this won't turn into a classic Google "troll-out"...
I was able to enable it without upgrading ...

I swear I'm at the bottom of Google's hill ... These roll outs always take forever to get to me LOL

I'm hoping that I will be able to use it instead of upgrading to the 2tb.

This is on the Google One Help page. So it sounds like it's coming in December.

I wonder if it will be linked to your account or to your device? Meaning can I login to my Google account and use it on my Tab S8? Or can I only use it on my P7P?

I just checked on my Samsung Flip 4 and after installing the app. It's asking me for the upgrade for the VPN

Or, if it's limited to the P7/P7P, does it run all data through the VPN, including any devices that might be connected when the Pixel's operating as a hotspot...

I would assume that any device connected to the hotspot on your Pixel would be protected by the VPN. You wouldn't need the app on your tablet or PC that is getting its data from the phone.

I think it's crap that the VPN will only work on the phone instead of it being connected to your account. Unless of course you upgrade to the 2tb.

Well it's announced as a perk for p7 owners so it would make sense to check on the phone and not the account when in use without the upgrade..

Query:. Adguard compatible

I use that Adguard on my pixel 7 Pro. Adguard creates a VPN of its own. Would I be able to use this VPN and Adguard at the same time?

That would make sense since you are on subscription but for those of us that want the freebie as part of the Pixel 7 purchase I'm thinking it would be phone driven ..but let's see if anything changes..

On my 7pro, when I log into Google 1, it's telling me to upgrade to 2TB plan at $10/mo to get the VPN

Here's what I get.

I looked at this thread a few hours ago and I didn't have access or any mention of VPN on Google 1. I just looked now and I have it. Nice to get it early. I don't really know if it will benefit me as I never use wifi.
