Just signed up for the site but I been reading on this site since I had a palm pre =] . Great website btw. Well, I was reading on all this apple vs Google nonsense over patents. My personal opinion is we as android users, need apple and someone to go against.Competition makes manufacturers constantly push new tech to outdo their competitors and themselves . With that said I think apple is being sore losers about it. I think Google should just banned iPhone users from accessing the Google site. The reason why I say this is because most smart phone users aren't aware of all this legal battle these companies are having, more importantly iPhone users. If iPhone "fan boys" were able to see how big of a sore loser apple is being, they might have a change of heart.

So... I find your post to be a little contradictory... I do agree with you that Apple is being a sore loser about this whole patent ordeal; however, you admit that "most smart phone users aren't aware of all this legal battle these companies are having" and then say that Google should ban them from accessing Google? You do realize the more people use Google, the more money Google makes, which means more money towards Android... Also, many "fan boys" are aware of "how big a sore loser Apple is being," but they chose the iOS platform because it works for them. Just my opinion on your opinion

Typing on my gnex I tried to shorten it a bit. I do realize the more people that use Google the more they make. It could be just for a short time. Just throwing this out there, not saying I myself agree with it but do you think if Google was to in fact do that for a long time, it may cause users to jump ship. Not having access to any Google service from your phone, would it make you jump ship? And in my experience talking to smart phone users, maybe 90% are not aware of this situation.

I think most smartphone users just don't really care that much about the whole Apple vs "us" thing. They actually have lives to live.
