Ok. This doesnt exactly have anything to do with the Infuse. But I wanted to make a thread and try to get life in it since not much is happening these days with our phones. But Google+ sure does look good on the Super Amoled Plus.

So, there are a lot of us that have Google+ and have been using it for a little bit. How many people out there like the potential that it has? My main hope in all honesty, is to completely switch to Google+ and leave FaceBook. I have a lot of friends on FaceBook. Mainly a lot that I wouldve never had to see again or associate again with in my life. Then there are the kids on FaceBook, the girls that put up pictures of them posing like its a Porn social media site, after awhile all of that gets kind of annoying. Reading about every update from the people that I could care less about. Then if I delete them, they wonder why? So. Im tryna jump straight to Google+ where theres more "sophistication". Google+ I dont believe will migrate just anyone on there.

As of right now, it doesnt have that super easy feel to it like FaceBook. It seems more polished for the "grown" folk. For the more tech savvy folks should I say. And even if there are those people that annoy you, you can put them in that "annoying circle" or just not add them at all.

Basically Im babbling right now. Leaving FaceBook to migrate to Google? Or Keep up with them both? Sound off. I would love to hear some of your opinions.

I plan on maintaining both until + picks up. I've already slowed down on Facebook, even though I only have 5-6 friends on +. I could easily delete half my friends on FB and never notice a difference. Once people start joining +, I'm definitely dropping FB.

I saw you wanted answers on google+ so I came to save the day... lol...

Honestly, I'm ready to leave facebook and have been for a long long time. I am very excited to see that Google+ has basically given me the ability to run a twitter style account and a facebook style account all in one place. There are a few little perks from having the seperate accounts, but overall it seems it will make my life easier to just deal with one. Especially since the Google+ circles feature is such an important part of google. Every time you post anything, you are prompted on how you want to share it. Its in your face and easy to do. You dont have to go searching through menus.

I currently run into situations all the time when people want to add me to facebook, but i have to refuse because facebook is for people i actually know. I offer them to be on my twitter, but then they say they dont use twitter. So the conversation ends there. Now I can let them add me on Google+ and then sort them into herds accordingly... its just plain better.

Oh and PS.... if you want to base this on the apps, I think everyone has known for a while that the android facebook app is horrible. Google didnt have to try very hard...

I would likley keep both untill all my freinds move to G+ or there is such a small number of them that I could drop facebook. Even now i hardly use it except to check up on my friends once and a while.

I have avoided Facebook from the start, but am excited about Google+. I finally got on late last night and have been poking around at work so I can just give a quick overview of why I like G+ compared to the little I have seen (but much I have read) of FB.

I have looked at my Wife's FB page and it seems so cluttered and hard to discern exactly what is going on. I am sure it makes sense to a frequent user, but it seemed very busy to me. I love how clean G+ looks so far.

I love the idea of Circles so far. I was never interested in sharing everything with everyone, but I do like the idea of sharing with subsets of people when appropriate.

The one feature that sometimes had me thinking about FB was the photo integration. Hopefully G+ will be able to be a good repository for that, but time will tell when I can more blatantly explore the service.

The Android App looks great so far and the hangouts could add a lot so hopefully more people will come on board soon to flesh out the network.

I dislike the game apps on FB and have blocked all of them. Several of my friends use those. I don't like the lack of privacy on FB. Though I'm a very open guy, there are certain things I'd like to share only with certain people. Now, if I write anything in that category, I have to put all these disclaimers so that I don't bend someone out of shape. I also have a wide range of things I enjoy, as most people do. So, why flood all my friends with photography issues or Brazilian music reviews if they don't care about that? Solution to all of the above: Google+.

When I get back from vacation, I'll start the removal process from FB. I'll likely keep my relatives there (all nephews, nieces, brothers, etc.) since it'll take them some time to make the transition. As for the others, well, remove remove remove... :)))

One thing I dislike in G+: people can "follow" my streams even if I don't follow theirs. However, I don't know if there is anything I can do about that. Even if I post something in a closed circle, if someone replies to that posting, I believe that a stranger who follows the person who replied to my note will be able to see that. Isn't that the case? Can anyone verify that?

I fully intend on getting rid of my Facebook page as soon as G+ goes public and I and more people I know are on it.

In my opinion, Facebook has gotten to be nothing more than a drama fest. And don't get me started on the constant changing of security and privacy settings.

Anyway, long story short, I will be leaving Facebook asap, and I can't wait!!!

I don't think that is the case. If you share something with a particular circle then the only people who see that post or the comments on it, are the people in that circle. Plus, unlike facebook, google+ doesnt post on your profile when you have commented on someone else's posts.

If what you were saying was true, then you would notice your stream filling up with posts from people you did not add simply because your friends commented on them. That would be impossible to deal with.

haha I see you took my G+ post and turned it into a full blown thread. love it.

I only use fb to keep up on family and real friends. My nieces and nephews friends try to friend me just so they can have more friends than other 12 to 16 year olds drives me nuts, I always refuse. I am looking forward to G+. Have already contacted family and friends to get them thinking about it. So when it goes public I am switching.

LOL you guys are great. I just deleted my facebook account this morning. For the people that aren't in yet. I assure you.....you will not be dissapointed. I now have friends to socialize with that share the same interest as me.
