Hi all. I installed Google Wallet and everything seemed to go well, but when I try to pay, nothing happens at all.

Some background: I rooted the phone, was able to install wallet from the zip on XDA by changing the build.prop values, added my cards (and got the $10 prepaid card), and switched the build.prop values back. NFC is enabled. I have tried holding the phone up to the sensor with wallet open and not open. I get no feedback from my phone or the paypass machine.

Does anyone have any ideas? I've tried putting the phone to the sensor in 3 different stores both with my case on and removed. I'm at loss. Thanks in advance.

are you using the new apk? if so you can't change build.prop back to the original one. I haven't installed the new apk of google wallet for that reason because if you don't change the build.prop back you can't use some samsung app like s-voice.

You may wanna double check the thread you got the apk from read the install instructions again.

That was the earlier unmodified wallet. The thread over at xda has a cwm flashable zip which allows you to change the build.prop back after you're initially configured it and added cards.

I flashed this through CWM if that makes any difference. wallet-sgs3-SGS3-TW-US_variants-ALL-fix.zip

I just installed that one this morning but haven't had a chance to try it yet. I usually just log into google wallet and enter my pin prior to getting to the register. Be sure the screen is still on or it won't work.

I'm running Synergy 1.7 and had the older version installed so not sure if that'll make any difference. I'll try it at McDonald's in the morning though.

I'm on Beans Rom and did exactly what you did. And it works. However it didn't work with my debit card selected so i had to use the google prepaid one. That one works just fine.
I also changed my build.prop to its original state right after setup. That is not the problem.
Is there any way for you to check if your NFC is working at all? Maybe someone with NFC Phone?
