Google Wallet on my GNex

I just got a Gnex on Verizon a couple of days ago. I was looking forward to using Google Wallet and was surprised to find it isnt available on my device. WTF? The Play store says it is not compatible with my device.

I do not want to root my device at this time.

Can someone point me to a place to get it installed?

I can only assume this is Verizon's doing but I cant figure out why....
