Google Wallet question

Not quite sure how this would work so I thought I would ask....I linked a couple of cards to my account and chose one to be the "selected card" to be charged for any purchases I make.

My question concerns the $10. on the Google debit card that they are giving everyone.

When I make a purchase with Google wallet will the transaction apply the $10. towards it even though I have choose one of my cards to be the primary card or will I need to make a purchase with the Google debit card as the primary card in order to spend that money?

this is just a complete guess but it sounds like the $10 will only be on the google debit card

I thought the same thing yet I read this:

What happens when I pay using a linked credit or debit card?

When you setup credit or debit cards in the Google Wallet mobile app, you will be issued a Google Wallet Virtual Card, a virtual MasterCard card by its partner Bancorp. Your credit or debit cards are linked to this virtual MasterCard. When you pay in-store by tapping your phone, Google Wallet passes the virtual MasterCard to the merchant for payment, and then charges your selected credit or debit card for the original amount of the purchase.

So Im wondering if the Google card with the $10. is the virtual card they use?

If anyone is interested the $10 wasn't utilized on my purchase so if you have multiple cards and want to use up the $10 you do need to set the Google prepaid as the primary card.

cheers for the info mate and yeah id like to know about wallet in the UK. like i need a way to spend ma money even FASTER than i do already
