Samsung owns this market because they're the only ones, at least in the USA. This is like saying in 2015 Tesla owns the electric car market. Can Ford and Chevy compete? The others will compete just fine. My interest in foldables has been tepid, but growing now that OnePlus is about to release one. I'm not interested in Samsung.

It's great more manufacturer's joining the Fold device's but it's their first version who knows what kinks they going need to iron out like how Samsung did after 2 versions

Have a group of folks who only buy Google and plenty that that only buy iphones or Samsungs...

So for us more discerning and sophisticated users...Google is the only choice.
