Google's location service, do you have it turned on?

without it - no weather, BatteryGuru and Google Now (btw, how do I disable google now?).
with it - the battery is dead.

what do you do?

Yes mine is left on all the time. My assumption is it only used GPS locating services if a app is needing to use it but if not it remains dormant. I haven't noticed any real drain or difference with it on or off

Yes. Mine's on. Along with screen brightness and everything else! Battery life is still great.

The only location thing I turn off is location history. Everything else is on. You might check for a rogue app checking its location constantly if turning on the service drains your battery quickly.

I leave it on, and prefer to be tracked wherever I go...It can provide me with an alibi.
