Google's "Photos" app

Most of us know Photos is replacing Gallery. I just switched yesterday from my 2014 Pure Moto X on Lollipop to an LG G3. Both phones, when viewing pictures in the cloud and actually saved to the device's internal storage. Have pixelated pictures in Photos. When using Gallery from 4.4 on the same phones, the images are high quality. Even if I download the pictures from the cloud to the device and try to view them from Downloads, they still show pixelated when Photos opens to view them. My settings in Photos are set to "Full Size". Does everyone else have this issue too? Is there a fix for it?

I don't know about your specific problem, but I think the photos app is terrible. Difficult to navigate, easy to accidentally share on Google Plus, etc. I have disabled it and use QuicPic and PicsPlus.
