Hell, Wrong forum. Feel free to move it. Thanks

So on the advice of another forum poster, I ordered the gorillagadget extended battery.

After letting the battery drain completely, and then fully charging, I got 32 hours from the charge. And I was doing everything I could to drain it.
Screen full brightness, hepatic feedback, power saving off, facebook, emails, and hell, I even used the phone to make a phone call or two.,and navigation for an hour during that time period.
And, all this while in a crappy reception area. My old battery would have made it 12 hours tops.
It was nice not having to worry about taking my car charger everywhere I went. Well worth the $25
The down side is that it really does increase the thickness and weight. Not to the point of making it awkward, but it does take some getting used too.
And the blue back cover they send isn't the same blue that the phone is. It's a couple shades off, but again, not really a huge deal for me.
On tomorrows charge, I'm just going to use the phone *normal*, and see if I can get 48 hours out of it.
I think it's possible.
So,if battery drain is a real issue for you, try the gorillagadget battery

Picked one up for $19.99. The battery really is about double the thickness of the stock Samsung battery. I got the white back and it matches my phone's color pretty well, and the phone still fits in my aftermarket dock (RND). Charged it Friday night and used it regularly Saturday and Sunday. It didn't hit 25% on the battery until about noon Monday.

Make sure you run it down to 0, and it shuts itself off, then recharge 2 hours past fully charged.
Do this a few times.
I do see longer battery up times by doing that.

I bought one too. And I got 2 days of heavy use on the initial charge. I'm now trying to burn the last 3% of the charge and it is just looking at me. Half an hour just to get down to 2% and that is with the screen at 100%. I can't believe that I got 2 days of heavy use, my OEM battery would of died in 6 hours of moderate use. With this kind of life, I don't care about the extra heft.
