Got a galaxy note and I am noticing it gets warm

I noticed it gets very warm around the camera area and on top of the screen while just going through the phones menu and the play store. is this normal for this phone? Thanks.

Mine doesnt get warm in that area or doing those tasks. My battery area will get warm while doing some gaming or heavy use. But nothing around the camera area.

Same here. My Note barely gets warm with use.

What brightness setting do you have it set to? Also do you have the gps on?

GPS and wifi always on, screen brightness set to auto

If i have screen bright for a long time, use the gps a lot or really use the phone the back gets hot. I keep the screen brightness set low and it helps keep the temp down.

I noticed that the camera area got warm when I was playing Adventure Time on my device today. But that was after about an hour of playing. I keep my brightness all the way down.

Mine gets warm around that area when I watch Youtube vids or play games. The phone frezes and I have to pull the batt.

Mine has started getting warm as well. Have you figured out a solution? I have

1) Reset to factory settings twice
2) deleted most of the stuff on the device
3) switched phone covers

It still gets warm and the device is only 4 months old.

Which Note do you have? (1, 2 or 3) Is it the original battery?
Try using an app like Better Battery stats to pinpoint which app may be killing the battery, too.
