Got a new Moment and a few questions about it

Ok so I just got the phone 4 days ago and so far I am liking it but there are some things I need to ask about (I'm coming from a Pre)

a) What's with the default email client? How come pictures don't show up for my email? Is there a hidden setting or button to show pictures?

b) For the above reason, I downloaded K9 mail which supports picture-filled html email, but it's not getting my mail in time. It just updated and gave me mail from 8pm last night. Any specific settings I should look for and change? Or a different email client to use?

c) Any tricks to speed up the phone? For the most part it's smooth, just checking to see if any apps help to give it any more of a boost. I use ATK free to close all of my unwanted background apps and it seems pretty effective.

d) Any recommendations for cases? I am pretty sure I'm gonna get the Invisible Shield for the screen, but I can't decided what else. I think I'm looking in the realm of leather pouches unless something else really catches my attention.

e) I've looked and saw millions of posts about using 2.1 and how to get it on your phone now, but what I am curious about is what it actually brings to the phone. What does it add? I saw a few things on youtube videos like Live Wallpaper, Speech-to-(just about everything), but what about Multitouch (one thing that I really miss from the Pre)?

f) I'll make this my last Q for now. What's the best browser, in your opinion? Right now I am using the default, but I have heard about the Opera, Skyfire, and Dolphin browsers. So whats the best?


I'm still debating whether to keep the phone or not. Not because I don't like the phone, but because of the recent M910 FCC filing. We'll see what happens there, I suppose.

b) not positive, but i'd assume k9 has a push feature, it'll drain your battery a little faster, and make sure your ATK doesn't kill it... should give you real-time results.
c) i also use setCPU (root needed)
d) there aren't any "eye popping" cases out there - there have been requests made to otterbox and others, but i just have a horizontal leather case from amazon/ebay...
e) no multitouch on the leaked 2.1 - live wallpapers, speech-to, google goggles... it doesn't support wireless tethering yet.
f) i use opera (primary) and dolphin. sometimes when i'm on mediafire or other share-sites, the 'count down' stops in opera, whereas in dolphin, it goes all the way. skyfire is still beta and a little buggy, but the flash videos play nicely... i also hear really good things about xscope.

Yeah, I meant Moxier mail. My primary email address right now is an old AIM mail account. I also have a newer gmail account set up that I use for very little right now. I noticed the gmail app works great for the gmail account, but the AIM account on Moxier doesn't show the emails properly. That's the account I am using K9 for (which I did realize earlier today I wasn't ignoring with ATK which may be a part of my email woes).

I'm pretty sure I'm just gonna get a side pouch like you said.

came from the instinct (ughh) and just got use to the opera interface and such... plus, it's pretty fast with their server side "magic".

Opera is the fastest browser - however you sacrifice page rendering quality for the speed.

I used Opera and wasn't very impressed with it. I'm using dolphin now and much prefer it over Opera. That's just my opinion though.

I prefer dolphin as well. For me its faster and more reliable
