Got a replacement pen for stylo 4 shourtcut not working

My replacement Stylo 4 pen will not pop up the shortcut menu so I can pick what I need to do with it just got this pen it fits in but when i pulled ot out my menu doesn't come up i tried everything. Even made sure settings was set right.

No need to post twice, especially not 7 minutes apart - maybe 7 days apart. (This isn't a paid LG "Ask a question and get an immediate answer" site, it's a free "users helping users" site.) When someone who has a replacement stylus had the same problem and figured it out, you'll get an answer.

I got a new stylus as well that wouldn't open the menu. I figured out it was my new case. It's a wallet type with a magnetic flap that covers the front. Don't know why it messes with it but it does. Works perfectly out of the case.
