Yeah I signed up for the "save the date" on Lg's website. I received the email today too

I don't remember if I signed up for the V30 but whenever I've signed up in the past I have never received anything.

Again... In past releases I've received nothing. Must be part of their strategy to beat Samsung.

We will see if they offer a nice trade in for the LG G4 toward a V30 like the note 8.

I got similar, possibly even multiple, with the G4. That was a hype push. This one seems a simple "save the date" mailing list flyer. This is all still pretty minimal advertising.

I'm not saying it's the greatest thing... Just didn't see anything with the V20 or G6.

I wonder if they purposely cut down on any huge blitz after the G4 due to it not hitting the numbers they wanted? The G5 got some love but it flopped, so just my guess.

Don't think that was it.... There was a sign up page for all of them. We're just talking about an email with information we already know.

Call me and Ieave me the details
Lol I'm debating if I want to be that involved as to wake up at 2:50AM get some snacks/coffee and watch the live event at 3. I think I'll just watch it when I wake up my regular time or wait for The Verge's "Supercut" video where they break the whole thing down in a few minutes.

That was several phones ago

Very True right there I didn't like what I saw in the V30 so trading in the G4 for $300 and a total price to my door of $630 for a new note 8 with the wireless charging and SD card. I will still keep my V20 and hopefully future V series phones offer something I can come back to at LG.
