Same here...was super excited then that was quickly deflated.

I guess I am happy there are ironing out all the kinks in order to release a quality product.

Imagine if the Evo 4G had all the same problems as the Thunderbolt has been having...it may not have been as successful as it was.

True, but the difference is that we never knew what Palm was hiding, it was always in the coming months, weeks ... years lol

I was going to rant about not receiving this magical email, until i saw it in my inbox. But the more rational thought of mine is that their is probably trouble in paradise for this device. Personally i feel at this point that there is probably some issue with the software. Unless they are taking up to month of creating a new back with a kickstand(which would be awesome). Something has to be not working to postpone release of this device for another month.

And I agree with you all with the fact that sprint keeps on trying to entice us with these flyers and such and with information that is probably very well known. I think the 100k people that are waiting for this device just wants to know one thing and one thing only and that is, when is it going to be released.

I wouldn't say that. They did say summer. Early June has always been the internet rumor mill *so sure* it'd be like the EVO's "summer" release.

I'm trying to remember when I got the Palm Pre emails... was it about a month before release? Same w/ the EVO, Epic and EVO Shift I think

Nothing's been postponed...They've been saying summer, they're still well within the announced time frame.

FWIW, My hope of lack of release date, and seemngly not being able ot match the EVO4G's anniversary date is due to the now UNlocked bootlader. not that I would've cared, but there are enough folks who DID, and that's the hang up. I don't think it's a hardware issue. If anything, it would be software, IMO. I could be worng, though.
