got an Svoice update today

I can now use voice to text within the SMS app, but only if using UK Version English. It also doesn't work as well as it did before Samsung messed with it. Some words aren't transcribed accurately, but it will have to do.

Go to the Galaxy app store and then search updates for Gear instead of phone.
