I turned off my phone. When I turned it back on, for some reason I decided to go to about phone in the settings. There I found I had a system update. I now have 1.29.422.17
Anyone else? What does this address? I use Cincinnati Bell

I don't think it addresses anything. It's just a firmware update. All I know is that 1.29 makes the capacitive buttons and the overall touch experience much better and much more responsive than 1.28. In fact, a lot of companies that sell glass or thick screen protectors require 1.29 because with 1.28 capacitive buttons become basically unresponsive or very hard to activate. May I ask what your CID is and where you live, or in other words where your device came from and if it is international or branded? I am considering going back to stock by flashing the Nandroid Backup and stock recovery but I'd have to change CID to one that already received that update. Thank you.

My phone came from the Cincinnati Bell phone store. It's most likely the same as one from T Mobile. This is actually the second software update I got since buying the phone when it first came out.

Ah okay thank you. I guess I'd have to change my cid to that in order to receive the update.
